1. Performance Description

1.1 Excellent high-temperature mechanical properties: TZM alloy (titanium-zirconium-molybdenum alloy) maintains high tensile strength and hardness in high-temperature environments. Compared with pure molybdenum, its high-temperature creep resistance is significantly improved, and it can serve stably for a long time at 1200-1400℃ without deformation and failure.

1.2 Good thermal and electrical conductivity: Inheriting the excellent thermal and electrical conductivity of molybdenum, it can quickly transfer heat and electric current, suitable for scenarios requiring efficient heat/electric conduction. At the same time, it has a low thermal expansion coefficient and strong dimensional stability.

1.3 Excellent processability: It can be formed by various processes such as forging, rolling and machining, and can manufacture parts with complex shapes. After processing, it has high precision and good surface quality, adapting to the needs of precision manufacturing.

1.4 Corrosion and oxidation resistance: It has good corrosion resistance in neutral and reducing atmospheres, and has erosion resistance to some molten metals (such as aluminum, zinc); after surface coating treatment, the high-temperature oxidation resistance in oxidizing atmospheres can be further improved.

2. Applications

2.1 Aerospace field: Used in the manufacture of rocket engine nozzles, high-temperature components of spacecraft skins, support structures of aero-engine turbine blades, etc., resisting extreme high temperatures and mechanical loads.

2.2 Nuclear industry field: As a structural material for nuclear reactors, it is used in the manufacture of control rod guide tubes, fuel cladding auxiliary components, etc. Relying on excellent high-temperature resistance and radiation resistance, it ensures the safe operation of the reactor.

2.3 Electronics and semiconductor field: Used in the manufacture of high-temperature heating elements, sputtering targets, electron tube cathode assemblies in semiconductor chip manufacturing equipment, ensuring precise operation of equipment by virtue of high thermal and electrical conductivity and dimensional stability.

2.4 Metallurgy and chemical industry fields: Manufactures heating elements and heat shields of high-temperature furnaces, as well as crucibles and diversion grooves for molten metal processing, resisting high-temperature erosion and chemical medium corrosion.

2.5 Other fields: Used in the manufacture of high-precision radiotherapy equipment components in the medical field; used in the manufacture of core components of high-temperature die-casting molds in the mold field.
